    1. Awesome, the team would like to take a few weeks to consider all of their options but they are very keen.

    2. Please tell frank that i have a lot of money from PDVSA, I need to have a competitive car for next season.

  3. What? No offer from Lotus for me. I still love them tell them that. I'm happy to take the second seat :-)

  4. You are more than welcome to Lotus man, but since I am number one driver I expecting you to know multi21 rule ,haha XD

  5. I'm very happy about the Red Bull and Sauber offers. This is my rookie year, so I couldn't have hoped more than that :) I quite like my team, we can work together well, my race engineer is super :) and the results are great for the time being. But every driver has high ambitions, so of course I'd like to drive at Red Bull. But for now I've to think about my offers, and in a week I'll make my decision. Currently we are leading the Constructors, so in a way, a Red Bull contract would be a setback :)
    Not money wise though...

Thanks for the enormous work you put in this League, Scott! It's a great game and I very much like it!

  6. If Sauber offered my a seat I'd take it, otherwise I'm happy at Force India.

  7. My manager and I discussed my options and the final decision is that I will gladly take the offered Red Bull seat. I enjoyed racing for the Sauber team, but I'm not sure they will have such a great car next year.
Racig for Red Bull will be a big challenge and I hope I can meet the high expectations. I will do my best. :)

  8. I accept the offer from Lotus!

  9. I will accept the offer made by Sauber, and will be a proud Sauber driver next year. I plan on turning this team around 360 degrees!

I mean... ummm... I hope I get some wins next year :)

  10. I will accept the Williams's offer, next year with Mercedes engine we will have the competitiveness back!

  11. I'll accept the Force India offer. I've been pretty terrible recently so probably don't deserve to stay at Mercedes!

    1. We all have tough times, I'm sure you'll bounce back. Your Alonso pick in Singapore was pretty good in the end. Always dangerous to go against Vettel though!

  12. I've just had news that Joe is happy to sign with Ferrari again! The Tifosi I'm sure will be going crazy, Joe's always been a passionate Ferrari fan. He was even seen flying the Ferrari flag in Singapore last weekend.

I also had confirmation yesterday that Aled Lewis is happy to sign with Mercedes which is great news for them! The grid is starting to shape up more now.

  13. My manager Willi Weber wishes to know from Martin Whitmarsh the direction of next years car. In particular assurances that Mclaren have taken steps to fix the operational errors which occured in Bahrain with the DRS. He would also like to speak with Ross Brawn about Merecedes offer as he feels my value to their team is slightly underated in that Mclaren are offering me £12million to be a no 2. It has been suggested that on the condition I become no 1 they offer me £11million if I accept their offer.

    1. Martin Whitmarsh would like to apologise for mechanical failures, he states the team were just very unlucky and the retirements happened at the inopportune moments like in races. He's very keen to have you sign up again and is hopeful you and Kim can continue your partnership. He's pretty happy with third in the constructors championship but wants to do better next year.

Ross Brawn is pleased you've bargained. He does feel you're worth the extra money, you've scored 7 consecutive points scores and he's been very happy with your move up the table in the last five races, since the new tyres have been introduced. He's also reviewed the situation and realised you've scored 25 more points in that period than both of his drivers put together. Given the vast resources owned at Mercedes, he's offered you a revised package of 15 million EUR if you manage to get the number one seat at his team under the old conditions. The 2nd seat would remain at 8 million EUR.

In response to this Martin Whitmarsh has aggressively stated his intent by raising the salary to 15.75 million EUR. He's been unable to raise it further due to terms in Kim's contract which demand she's the highest paid driver at the team but he's confident that 15.75m is close enough to basically ensure equal treatment.

  14. Willi has outlined the terms to me and is pleased by the quick reponses from both teams. He would like to thank Mr Whitmarsh for his quick response and regardless of my decision, I promise to give Mclaren my all and personally inform him of my decision. Ross Brawn is also thanked for his foresight and I am aware of his ability in teams to turn people in stars

Willi is happy with both terms outlayed as I still have a point to prove at Mclaren and Kim deserves the shot at being the number one. For the Merecedes offer he is pleased and agrees with the number 2 slot staying at 8 million Euro. However, he is currently inquiring with Christian Horner about the availability of the number 2 race seat subject to the number 1's opinion on a teammate and to see if Adrian Newey is hard at work on the car for the 2014 regulations.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Christian Horner states that he'd love to enter into negotiations, he's interested in what terms you'd like?

He says that to be completely honest, he's currently in negotiations with another driver but he's not sure how interested they are.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Rajaram has decided to accept Ferrari's offer! Both drivers lined up, a fight to the end of the season for number 1 status for next year.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Due to the fact that I would be a Red Bull Number 2, Willi feels that 14 million EUR would be a fair offer for my services. Although Willi is willing to negotiate on the value due to Adrian Newey cars being winners, he would again stress that bad luck has paid a part to my season (Bahrain, Malaysia and Japan) and that I have been consistent otherwise.

  18. Christian Horner and Helmet Marko offer the following #2 driver contracts to their three targets, however each contract comes with its own stipulations.

Firstly the race and podium bonus have been raised for the Red Bull team to £800k and £500k respectively to reflect the increasing performance basis.

    Contracts:

    Michael
    Salary: £12m EUR
    Deadline: Brazil
Bonus: raised in line with new policy
Basis of employment: must fulfil the most conditions of the three eligible drivers, if equal conditions are fulfilled the driver who scores the most points between India and US will have the first option on the contract.

    Conditions:
    - score a podium in the next three races
    - be in the top ten in the constructors championship after US
    - outscore MetalGatherer in the three races (India, Abu Dhabi, US)

    MetalGatherer
    Salary: £12m EUR
    Deadline: Brazil
Bonus: raised in line with new policy
Basis of employment: must fulfil the most conditions of the three eligible drivers, if equal conditions are fulfilled the driver who scores the most points between India and US will have the first option on the contract.

    Conditions:
    - finish next three races in the points
    - score at least 18 points in the next three races
    - be in the top eight in the constructors championship after US

    Keba
    Salary: £8m EUR
    Deadline: Brazil
Bonus: raised in line with new policy
Basis of employment: must fulfil the most conditions of the three eligible drivers, if equal conditions are fulfilled the driver who scores the most points between India and US will have the first option on the contract.

    Conditions:
    - score a podium in the next three races
    - score at least 18 points in the next three races
    - score more points than both Michael and MetalGatherer in the next three races

    1. I'm happy with the offer from Red Bull. Everyone was surprised when Red Bull announced that I will be taking over Wander's place for the rest of the season. I am going to prove that they trust wasn't misplaced and I would make a great addition to next year's team.

      Delete
  19. Martin Whitmarsh and Ross Brawn step up their chase.

Martin Whitmarsh offers the McLaren drive to Michael with a salary of £15.5m (with a deadline of Brazil) unless MetalGatherer is willing to accept a contract of £8m before US.

Ross Brawn offers contracts to both Michael and MetalGatherer, but sets a deadline of Abu Dhabi. He's willing to break the bank to make Mercedes competitive again by offering £17m to the driver if they end up with more constructors points than their current driver Aled Lewis by the end of the season.

  20. I'm definitely happy with Red Bull's offer. I'd like to prove myself worthy of a place at their team but I'm sure I'm the right man for the job!

I don't want to rule out McLaren or Mercedes though as they're both great teams.

  21. I am ready for a three man shootout as Willi and I feel that the competition between the 2 other strong drivers will sharpen my senses. Kiszol is an excellent driver and it is very tempting to be in a team with him. If I should fail Willi would like to offer Mr Whitmarsh a discount on my fee to 12 million and he would secure my services at this fixed rate for the next 2 years at which I would accept the number 2 role even if Kim were to move on.

    1. Martin Whitmarsh is keen to get a driver signed up as soon as possible but he'll accept your terms and conditions Michael if you reduce your salary demands to 10m EUR.

MW will check the situation at the Brazilian weekend and make a decision based on what information he has there.

If you both accept contract offers then MW will have to make a judgement based on contract value, length and points scored across the season. Whitmarsh is open to any counter offers from MetalGatherer.

  22. Toto Wolff is disappointed that neither Michael or MetalGatherer accepted the offer by Abu Dhabi, he'd like to extend the offer until the Monday after the US GP.

  23. Red Bull #2 driver:

Keba - fulfilling all three conditions
Michael - fulfilling two, beating MetalGatherer and in top ten in constructors
    MetalGatherer - fulfilling none

Michael is currently 17 points behind Keba with one race left, MetalGatherer is 21 points behind Keba with one race left.

  24. Without a manager like Weber I'm on the backfoot. My performance has been terrible in India and Abu Dhabi so it seems like Red Bull is out of the window! Also Weber's influence seems to have elevated Michael so he has first refusal on McLaren.

I'm going to have to thank Ross/Toto for their interest and humbly accept their offer of 17m EUR per year. I'm sure we can win next year because I will give it my all! I won't let Williams down for the remaining races. I'll continue to battle alone and try for the almost impossible 6th place in the championship.

  25. Willi and I would like to wish Keba the best of luck in the red bull seat next year as you have clearly been the better driver. This leaves me with the Mclaren deal, which I am keen to pursue .Willi and I would be willing to maintain the current salary I have at Mclaren subject to performances in the next few races. If I should peform at a lower level than Mr Whitmarsh's expectations then £11 million-£10.5million would be acceptable. I am aware Mclaren expect winners but I believe my technical help on the car and experience of the league has helped my teammate setup the car. Finally, I would point out the constructors points gap between Kim and myself is a combination of unfortunate mechanical failures or damage caused from overtaking by others.

    1. McLaren have been happy with your performance this year, and agree that some of the difference is down to factors outside of your control.

Martin Whitmarsh feels it would be fair to offer you £12 million contract with a one-year contract, where the team has an option to take you on for a further season (with an extension deadline of Abu Dhabi 2014).

Are Willi and yourself happy with this?

  26. Willi and I accept the terms Mr Whitmarsh. Please expect me to come back fitter, hungrier for the title at Preseason testing.

  27. Willi and I wish to speak to Ron Dennis with regards to the one year option on my contract. Firstly, we wish to say thank you to Ron with regards to his return to the Mclaren and the changes he has made. The appointment of Eric Bouiller is shrewd and I feel will in future seasons prove fruitful for Mclaren. That aside I wish to see Ron's terms with regards to Salary and feel that if it is unacceptable it can be decided on a coin flip. I also hope that my performance so far has met Ron's demanding standards.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ron says your standards have been high enough this year (he's been impressed with your consistency) but he wants to get back to winning ways more than anything. He hopes you'll stick by your word and be an ethical man. If not he'll consign you to the unethical list with Christian Horner, Dan Fallows and Bernie Ecclestone.

He has a few offers for you for next year. He says you agreed to be number 2 driver but you can become number 1 driver if you lead the team to top 3 in the constructors and outscore your teammate by over 100 points.

He also will allow you to stick to your 12 million EUR salary or if you're really in it for results, he will accept a different contract of 9 million EUR base salary with a special winning bonus of 1.5 million and a podium bonus of 0.5 million. If you do enough for number 1 status and accept the different contract, Ron will always refer to your number 2 driver as "them", "Coulthard" or "Alonso" depending on your preference.

Ron re-states that he's absolutely committed, with every fibre of his essense, to taking McLaren to top. Eric Boullier agrees.
